FAQ around the Smart Product Challenge

How can I apply for the IoT Challenge?

Startup companies with headquarters in Europe can apply with their IoT solution until March 25th, 2022 via our online application form.

What are the requirements for the application?

To apply, all you have to do is answer a few questions online and upload a pitch deck. Please check our application guidelines for more details.

What is the timeline for the Smart Product Challenge?

25.03.2022: Deadline for applications
31.03.2022: Notification if you are invited to the pitch
07.04.2022: Pitch in front of the expert jury

What’s included in the Smart Product development kit?

The development kit includes everything you need to prototype your smart and connected product idea. It consists of the Tributech OEM module, Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 DK and Infineon Technologies Shield2Go sensors.
In addition to the winners, every startup that submits a complete submission will also receive a free development kit.

Will the pitching event be remote or in person?

If we are allowed to meet on-site, it is still on you to decides if you want to come to the event or if you prefer to join us remotely.

Are there any Covid measures?

Of course we consider the current coronavirus measures. You will be informed about changes in the schedule in due time.

In which language shall I present my solution?

Due to our international jury the whole challenge will be processed in English.
